Quick question concerning FedEx

Postby N3M3SIS » January 11th, 2017, 9:03 pm

Sup guys. I ordered from a USA website and my package was shipped via FedEx.
According to tracking, it's been in the country since the 6th and though initially scheduled to be delivered to my address on the 10th, instead it says pickup pending.

Got a number online for their HQ in Tunapuna and there was no response. Is there any solution other than taking a day off and going? I'm from deep south :drinking:

Should have used UPS.
Next time use UPS.
You sure it clear customs right? Well you can wait a little bit more, or you can expect more for a premium service you are paying for.

You really have to go in and collect it yourself.
Local FedEx does say how they can't deliver to some places. Places that they have delivered to before. So if you read the fine print about guaranteed delivery, and if you have proof that they have delivered to the marked address before, you can call FedEx (use the 1-800 number and call from Google Hangouts/Skype for free so you can talk to someone in USA) and get a refund. A full refund. I did this before. It's disappointing to see that it's just the attitude of the local drivers, got back my $75 CAD though.

And that's how I switched to UPS. The drivers actually call the contact number on the package and really try to make that delivery. Make a lil noise OP and get back your money if you feel you should deserve what you paid for.

p.s. this doesn't apply if you live in the bush eh, where even TTPost courier can't reach with their van.

+1 vote for DHL in trini though, awesome delivery time and service.

But OP, keep trying to call them. It could be a case a missing documentation, but that shouldn't hold up the process this much.

they usually check it over, makes sense, to scope for drugs and sheit.

Yuh can call them and see if it's in customs. i've had issues with them before on similar stuff, and it's often caught in a queue. Or call customs directly, it would have the same shipping number they would use.
