First time hearing about dogs chewing brake lines...but good to know you found out the cause.

Hear Massy updating the BMS (Battery Management Software) on older Ioniqs when you carry it in for service. Anyone had this done and noticed any change in behavior after it was done? Like staying on electric more/less often, better/worst fuel economy etc

Massy contacted me today, Wanted to make sure the car was ok after this weekend’s floods, Also about updating the BMS and they wanted to check the Hydraulic Clutch Actuator on the vehicle. Scheduled for next week. Only at Morvant and not the other service centers. Dropping the car off in the morning and picking it up in the evening.
Let us know how it goes

Possible problem with hydraulic clutch actuators leaking and causing fire ...
Maybe all DCT's are really cursed.

update: i collected it just before closing time and everything came up to 1200

noticing the brakes pedal vibrating about 75% of the time and every time i mash the brakes, a very soft beeeeeeeeep is heard. of course you can only hear it when the music off, but is that something to be alarmed about?

Toyota Prius owners used to complain about rust and corrosion on the brake discs. This because the actual brake pads are hardly ever used.

Yours rusty or clean?

4. That would be the damaged one I shared prior. I did not speak to the owner as I am not interested in a damaged one. He was asking $65k. Reason for sale was the damage.

So the Niro only has 3 years warranty on the battery and its more expensive than the ioniq

Also in the US market both cars are the same price ... SS at it again.

I would buy a Niro if it were the same price as the Ioniq and got the same battery warranty. Only for the Cross-Over look. SUVs have major appeal. I would have endured the SS experience I have been hearing about

Far from the same price though. Interior in the Niro is.. underwhelming.
