The system reboot for some citizens is agonizingly long.

I'll give Wasa credit in that they're pretty reliable down my side. I usually have a consistent supply, although a bit on the low side.

They usually stick to their advertised schedules, so I guess this big interconnection project had some serious SNAFUs

A large area stretching from the East Dry River to WestMoorings will be without a water supply on Friday and Saturday because of repair works at the El Socorro Booster Station.

The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising customers served by the El Socorro Booster Station that there will be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply from 8p.m. on Friday to 8a.m. on Saturday.

This has become necessary in order to facilitate planned maintenance work at the facility. 

Areas that would be affected include: 

             Port-of-Spain

             Morvant

             Westmoorings

             Cocorite

             St. James

             Woodbrook

             Cascade

             St. Anns

             Belmont

             Laventille

             Gonzales

             East Dry River

Customers are advised that upon restart of the station, it may take between 8 to 12 hours for the scheduled pipe-borne service to be normalized to some areas.

Been getting either dry taps or very low pressure on the Carapichima line - happening for over two weeks. Got some muddy water recently, so I assumed that they're doing works.

The low pressure has been enough to keep the two small tanks full, so at least it's not that bad.

The new normal on schedule days is either the water is enough to fill tanks yet not reach upstairs, or water pressure starts to build mid-afternoon only to completely leave by sunset.

Yet theyll justify a rate increase. WASA is a fail.
