There are still about 2,600 outstanding leaks to be fixed by WASA.

Because of this, the authority has launched two new initiatives – namely a mobile app through which persons can report leaks and a rapid response leak repair program.

According to Operations Manager, Sherland Shepherd, there are around 27,000 to 35,000 leaks annually, most of which are dealt with.

Public Utilities Minister Robert Le Hunte challenged the authority to reduce this backlog of leaks by 70% by year-end.

The newly launched app, meanwhile, gives users the opportunity to report leaks and pay their bill.

It is available for Android devices now and will soon be downloadable for Apple devices

Yesterday was a scheduled day. They shut it off around 8:30 p.m.

Scheduled 3 days a week at, for some reason only WASA could justify, a cycle cost of nearly $400.

They could take their bottled water and fit it up all WASA staff anus.

I have two 400 gallon tanks and a pump but not everyone is that fortunate to invest in these things. It is a fact that since PNM henchman Robert le hunte running wasa all this sheit taking place for the past year.

i now coming to type d same ting , i glad water actually come back this evening but when i checked it on main road chaguanas where my workshop is : its exactly that , falling at about 3ft height from d ground but not strong enough to full back tanks that are about 8ft from ground level ....
