Effective when?

I think from now, but provisions in place for vehicles already purchased and/or in transit

Believe I heard effective from Oct 20th ??, but with the usual moratorium until December for vehicles in transit.

In 2015 it used to cost me $ 120.00 to full up. Now it will cost $ 175.00.

45 forking percent increase in two years yes.

Diesel has seen a whopping 127% increase, with the same terrible quality. On the point of inspection costs increasing, does this mean we're finally going to get our stickers?

Hybrid within that range never had taxes, but they now do & that is for both

Wouldn't a 10% tax on NLCB gambling hurt their own business by pushing more people to the casino's.?

According to Central Bank, 97c should be round down to 95c
https://www.central-bank.org.tt/sites/d ... 202017.pdf

but remember it's rounded up or down on the TOTAL bill. Unless you buying exactly one litre.

So do we have a chance to full up gas tank tonight at the old prices or would gas stations have already adjusted?

No...
As soon as the announcement is made...they shut down the pumps if the technician is present and change the price immediately.
Some owners use discretion and leave the pumps at the old price until the technician arrives.

Boom based on what?

Projected oil price around $100 USD
Many of the big Rigs etc coming on stream massively increasing production

Exactly how is more oil on the market going to increase the price?
