looking forward for the specific cuz i find ~600km for 1 tank not really good; you can get better in non hybrids.Redman wrote:In was told by a Nissan hybrid owner that he gets six trips Sando to town on one tank.
I will get some specifics
He loves it.

The almighty Toyota is why? From TTTL to outside dealers Toyota gets a premium for just being!!

CHR is a death trap .

^C-HR nowhere says 'death trap'
Test drive the CHR ..
It was actually designed by a race car driver for Toyota .
It is smaller than the Honda Del Sol ..
Another death trap .
This car is the result of a global cooperation between design centres on three continents and was managed by Project Chief Designer Kazuhiko Isawa. The original exterior design was created by Calty, the Toyota design studio in California.

2017 Nissan Xtrail Hybrid 2.0 2WD - $181k (non Autech)
2018 Nissan Xtrail Hybrid 2.0 2WD - $235k
2017 Toyota CHR Hybrid 1.8 2WD - $195k
This would give you an idea as to the major profits the dealer makes on a sale. Seen regular 2WD Xtrails sell from as low as $220k to as high as $247k. Initially, I saw them as high as $255k but prices are more competitive now vs 9-10 months ago. This is the non Autech and non 4wd unit I'm referring to. These T32 Hybrid Xtrails are coming to an end brand new as the 2017.5 to present models (aka 2018) are slowly taking over. If you want a new Hybrid xtrail but don't care for the 2018 refresh then act fast as that supply like I said is coming to an end. Production of the non refreshed model ended in early 2017 to make way for the refreshed version. I really cannot explain the jump in price neither can my contact who supplied me with this info which is to be used as a guide only.
The Hybrid CHR would have been more expensive than the Hybrid xtrail no doubt but for the refreshed 2018 model, those xtrails will command a price premium over the CHR.
Ben_spanna wrote:So if you import a hybrid its free of MVT up to 2000cc? what are the charges if you want to import a Hybrid that's over the 2000cc size?
Ben_spanna wrote:^^ that's sort of silly, at a time like this government should be encouraging as many people to go Greener, they should completely remove the taxes on Hybrids and All electric regardless of engine size.
