Actually, I found out today that there is a plan with 3GB of data, 300 minutes to local networks and landlines and free bmobile to bmobile calls for $215 VAT exclusive which comes up to about $242. All you need to do is dial *123# on the bmobile phone.

Yeah I know about the plan but digicel got data roll over its kinda like unlimited for me Bmobile I will lose my unused data

Have you ever seen a stone that was rolling down a hill, stop rolling on the hill until someone pushed it again? That's how Digicel's rollover works. Yes you may have extra minutes and data at the end of the month long period for your plan that you ALREADY PAID FOR (stone rolling down the hill), but you can't use it unless you pay for a new month-long plan (the new push to a stone that was supposedly rolling already) within 48 hours. Suppose something comes up and you decide you won't allocate that money towards your plan for this month. Poof, everything is gone until you pay for a new plan i.e. welcome to bmobile.

I've acknowledged it's a strategic kind of move because if bmobile was to get rollover data, digicel would lose all of their customers but if digicel's service coverage was to match that of bmobile, vice versa. Play to each other strengths and weaknesses enough to keep a balance between their customer bases, keep some disgruntled and others happy and eradicate any third party that tries to introduce competition and we have what we're faced with today. There's a 'c' word that rhymes with 'artel' that describes that situation, can't put my finger on it though...

keep in mind digicel had better coverage until they decided to upgrade their network. maybe when LTE rolls out it may get back to what it was

TATT have still not approved the LTE band for Digicel. Digicel's strategy is to upgrade all the towers and upgrade everyone's sim so that (1) when the approval does come LTE will work immediately and (2) customers are getting frustrated so all the tower and sim activity gives the impression that things are moving along and LTE is imminent... The truth is they have no indication whatsoever that an approval may come or that it is indeed imminent. We customers are being taken for a ride by both Digicel and TATT!!

WDMC? So no love for South people? And only postpaid customers can seek redress from their account managers?

The best so far is that there are "Free" sim upgrades. But when you check a kiosk or store you're greeted with "oh we eh ha no simcard for sim swap, check we back... we eh know when we getting nah" :|

Honestly bmobile LTE is pretty good on my end but it is limited to certain areas.... at home I get it but on work I don't but the only thing that bothers me is that they don't notify you when your plan is up but digicel do
