As an underdog supporter, this group was definitely my group of death. Iran and morocco both should hold their heads high. Every game was nail biting action .portugal 3 to spain 3,morocco2 to spain 2 ,portugal 1 to iran 1 and spain 1 to iran 0. Goals , controversy , heartbreak ,determination .definitely one for us the fans.

Btw. Croatia (reminds of the 98 davor sukur squad ) or russia may make that final4.

It’s possible.

While there are crazy people out there that think Michael Jackson’s death is a hoax and that The Simpsons pretty much mapped out what the former King of Pop was going to do the rest of his life, a far more plausible result from a past Simpsons prediction could come true.

In “The Cartridge Family” episode of The Simpsons, there was a scene featuring a riot that breaks out after a really boring soccer match between Mexico and Portugal that ends after a bunch of penalties decides the winner. There’s another scene where a Mexican player has a bunch of women in a hot tub with her and of course there was a recent story from B/R where Mexico hosted a party with 30 prostitutes, so we’ve got some definite parallels already going on with more World Cup slated to come to see whether or not the finals will have a similar result.

This wouldn’t be the first time The Simpsons have made predictions, many events of the past have been finding correlations with real life and sports alike, so we’ll have to wait and see if this one happens as well.

The biggest joke was after Argentina scored the winner cameras focused on Maradona just as he was giving someone a double bird salute. They couldn't cut away fast enough... :lol:
