Police are investigating a murder which shocked patrons at a Curepe bar on Wednesday night.

Up to 8 pm, officers were still processing the scene at Roxanne's Bar at the corner of Simeon Street.

Sources say a businessman of Bamboo Blvd, Valsayn, went to bar accompanied by two workmen, to meet an individual.

He reportedly entered the establishment and purchased beers for the trio.

On his way out, he was approached by a gunman who shot him multiple times before fleeing.

The victim, whose name has not yet been revealed, died at the scene.

The incident occurred around 6:30 pm.
