as gunmen opened fire on two men in a yard before escaping in the vehicle
in which they came.

Two of the 59—Mikey, 33, and Dave Babwah, 31—were charged with being in possession of a Glock 19 pistol and ten rounds of ammunition on August 23.


The two, who were represented by defence attorney Nicole Basraj were also charged with having the weapon and ammunition knowingly, as well as being gang members themselves. The Babwahs are sons of murdered security guard Basdeo "Dragon" Babwah, who was killed while in his guard booth at Media Sales Ltd and Toyota at Chanka Trace, El Socorro Extension on August 21.


Their matters were adjourned to September 20.
