Legit or scam?

Postby supercharged turbo » February 21st, 2018, 3:02 pm

I was approached by a representative from this company who said that they were conducting a survey to see what different establishments sell the same product for.Anyone ever heard about this company or had any experience with them?I checked the website they listed and nothing came up.They didn't ask for any personal info. They just asked the price for the products and took a pic of items. The rate things are going these days,I'm very skeptical.

http://www.hoperesearchgroup.com

They supposedly have offices in 4 countries (Trinidad, Jamaica, US and India).

Whether they are legitimate or not...who knows for sure?

I would say a red flag is that they list the website on that document as hopetrinidad.com, which doesn't resolve when loaded.

If they ask where the student's parent are employed, estimated monthly incomes, how much are their bills (not just utilities, but dining out & entertainment expenses), what their parents spending habits are like, etc. Easy way to gather info in an effort sort out potential targets that might buy into a scam, as opposed to asking grown adults their business directly & gettin ignored or cuss out directly.
