BOOM!
President sounds good until you realize there is little power in that office. Prime Minister is where all the real power lies.
She may be a kind soul but the office is just ceremonial and simply a rubber stamp.

I think the most important role is the Commander in Chief of the armed forces.
Remember that time Robbie told them to attack with full force? The PM cannot make that call AFAIK.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Proclaim state of public emergency

it was at that point, bas knew he f#$% up, giving the robbie the presidency.
the way the presidency is advertised in tnt, is as a check/balance, a last line of defense of thing getting out of hand with the government. but it isnt so.
what we need is to actually come up with a final line of check/balance, through which government decisions are washed, before becoming law. this would better be served via a committee, not a person. sumting to the like the electoral college.
the example would be the monies that was sent to a cuffie. that would have needed to pass through some sort of check, before it was undertaken. or if they did do it like what had happened, it to pass through and evaluation committee to deem its viability.
they would have to document all the critieria it meets to be a valid transaction, and identify what it doesnt meet.
then that document be made available to the public, as it involves tax dollars, or a national resource.
the swiss system of governance is the best model so far as to have institutionalized regulation and checks/balances... could just copy 70% of it whole sale.
