Nah, nah this real serious...more serious than:

*Sh!tkicker apparently protecting an individual that sexually harassed a female employee.
*Sh!tkicker apparently protecting inept Ministers.
*The out of control crime situation.
*The out of control murder rate.
*The collapsed Sea Bridge...

...and so on and so forth.

But thank goodness that even though this event 'strangely' occurred at the height of the Daryl Smith bacchanal they were able to find such a large sum of money at short notice to secure the release of the young lady making this one of the shortest (if not THE shortest) kidnapping episodes in the country's history. Well 'played'...er...I mean 'done' to all those involved...

Which news source say Young paid the ransom. I am seeing Express saying the Family paid and as Young is merely step as opposed to father I would assume the biological father would be the one paying.

Isn't Young currently estranged from his wife who would be the mother?

So yes... no "ransom" money was paid but simply money owed was paid hence the conflict in the news if money was paid or not.

Krystiana Sankar was freed after a first ransom of $117,000 was paid to kidnappers in the Carenage district on Thursday night. A second ransom of $50,000 was also paid the same area later that night. She was dropped off on Morne Coco Road, close to the Four Roads Police Station, and was later met by police and relatives, who took her to the station.
