Met service predicts two potential hurricanes for wet season

The TT Meteorological Service is predicting up to four named storms to affect the country during the 2018 wet season.

Speaking at the MET service's Seventh National Climate Outlook Forum at the Sugarcane Feed Centre in Chaguanas today, climatologist Kenneth Kerr also predicted that two of these storms could become hurricanes.

Kerr is advising citizens to stock up on non perishable food items that will last them between three to seven days.

yeah if they said that there would be more storms forming south of us like where Bret formed

https://www.soualiganewsday.com/local/soualiga-news-today/item/16852-2018-atlantic-hurricane-season-could-be-more-active-than-2017-season-caribbean-could-be-at-high-risk.html

“As for possible storm tracks during the 2018 Hurricane Season – The track cluster during the 2017 Hurricane Season was further west and slightly more south than the 2016 Season. This is a trend that began in 2015 and is concerning because I think the track cluster during the 2018 Hurricane Season could end up being further west and south than the 2017 Season.

I wonder what plans and devices the Government has been putting in place during this Dry Season, given the severe levels of flooding that affected the country several times last year. We saw some areas that were hit pretty badly, and cutting off the highway even.
