Saw a sweet black one in PriceSmart POS with a lift and some mud tyres. Looked really, really good.

In 2019 I swear I was going to buy one of these, until I realised these are highly unsafe in a crash. In TT we don't get any additional safety features beyond 2 airbags.

The 200,000 + price tag keeps me from ever buying 1....

Wtf definitely not worth that price

I love em. Would gladly have one as a secondary vehicle but will only pay for one after depreciation. A nice manual runabout that I don’t have to baby.

5 doors with the 1.5L might be a nightmare... I hope they give it more power. But it is a nice runabout vehicle. And if its anything like the older ones it could last a lifetime...

https://www.carexpert.com.au/car-news/2020-suzuki-jimny-recalled

The bond primer applied to the windshield glass and the rear door window glass may have been incorrectly applied to the glass,” the company says in its recall notice.
“The bond primer may not adhere to the glass, water can leak into the cabin and the glass may detach from the vehicle.
“This could result in the glass becoming airborne or falling on to the road, increasing the risk of serious injury or death of other road users.”

This is Australia not sure if it will be locally too

2023 Suzuki Jimny Long five-door gets the green light

A new report out of India says the five-door Jimny Long has been given the stamp of approval by company executives

The 2023 Suzuki Jimny Long has been given the green light in India, according to local publication Autocar.

As one of the most important markets to Suzuki, the carmaker’s Indian arm has reportedly signed off on the much-anticipated five-door Jimny Long, which is said to be powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, potentially with the addition of mild-hybrid technology.

The news comes just days after a report out of Japan suggested the Jimny Long will be unveiled in late 2022, ahead of a launch in the first half of 2023.

These renderings created by artist Aksyonov Nikita for Russian publication Mail.ru provide an idea of what the Jimny Long could look like when it arrives.
