Traffic is a human behavioural phenomenon. So once the human factor is involved, there can be no real solution. The only way traffic will be solved is when the world uses driverless cars with a fully integrated system to coordinate all variables. Which means at least a 5G network transmitting all variables in real time to supercomputers.

Which means never in Trinidad.

We have the means to help alleviate and reduce traffic but as we have seen stubborn a55es like woodbrooke residents dont like to be inconvenienced to go around the block to go home, so everyone must suffer.
IF police were to really start CHARGING a hefty fine for ALL taxis and maxis that stop in areas that they are not supposed to stop, watch and see how traffic will diminish!

For countless YEARS Diego martin suffered from traffic entering, , ONE day when they got police to stand just outside the Station and hand out tickets for anyone stopping, the traffic was reduced to almost none...………. mind you the police station is right there where all the CArs stopped, yet they didnt have the energy :roll:

to go outside of the station to help .
