This technology has been around years now. It would be interesting to see the feedback from people.

horseshit
it's a valid concept. an engine can run on hydrogen, but that contraption not producing enough H2 to have any kind of effect on fuel consumption or emissions.

Can someone provide an explanation for what it is exactly or a link for more information?

From what I could discern basically it's supposed to be a device that is used to slowly generate small amounts hydrogen gas, that is then directly fed into the engines air/fuel intake.

so the device must use some consumable fuel to generate the hydrogen
is this fuel cheaper than the vehicle's fuel ?

not sure what source it's coming from. could be the atmosphere, could be from water. H2 is literally everywhere, so it could be cheaper to use to run a engine, but that'd depend on the source & cost to produce the gas of the gas itself.

Ok so from the limited information in the zorce article I gathered that the H2 source is from an electrolyte stored inside the fuel cell. You just need to replace/refill the electrolyte every 50,000km

Zorce wrote:The system works by initiating an electronically controlled electrolysis process that releases hydrogen molecules from the electrolyte fluid inside the Ultimate Cell unit. The hydrogen gas is delivered in small non-destructive amounts to your engine’s air intake. The system is designed to produce hydrogen only when required, based on throttle commands.

The introduction of hydrogen into the combustion chamber acts as a catalyst and ensures faster and more complete fuel burn. We’re not expecting any serious power gains, but having seen catalyst-type fuel additives at work, we’re expecting to see better fuel mileage at the very least.

I find it funny that there is no real information about it on the actual website. It's marketing strategy seems similar those forex scams. A bunch of claims about performance with no links to the actual results and an FAQ page that leaves out the #1 FAQ "How does it work?"

They claim 30% reduction in fuel consumption which is amazing if true but so is becoming a millionaire by spending US$150/month to trade on the forex. I will wait until someone comes out with actual results before I form an opinion on this. Let's hope zorce followed through.

I was wondering about running H2 in a 4banger this some years back. wouldn't be difficult. Hardest things would be to source the H2 & regulator, but it have IGL & such places for that.
Install a tank of H2, 2 valves (one on the tank the other in the cabin), a slow low pressure low volume regulator (about 7 psi) & splice into a vacuum line at the rear of the air intake.
