It is based on public service buddy. Everyone listed has contributed a significant part of their lives to public service that is the merit benchmark Ewart Williams who u highlighted in red was the governor of Central Bank for 10 years and worked at the IMF for 30 years before that. He is currently in some role in UWI not sure what it is right now. What have u done lately to serve or contribute to your country? Post oxymorons on Trinituner?
Hell even Sat Maharaj received an award he may be a tool but the man has dedicated his life to uplifting the hindu religion in his own rugged way.

99% of them people getting those awards are PNM supporters.

This is like giving yourself a pat on the back for a job well done even though you went for the job specifically because it is a government wuk and the salary and benefits nice and as such it was the ONLY reason you took the job and didn't have sh!t to do with service to your country

As humans we don't do sh!t for our country, we only like to pretend we do. The reality is almost everything we do has some form of selfish motive because it is hardwired into our DNA through millions of years of evolution so I eh know who they does fool with these awards.

There has always been a perceived bias toward the supporters of whichever Party happens to be in Government.

A better question might be: Which one(s) will Ansa McAl have to acquire and return to T&T in a few years time?...:|

Surprised that there were no gallantry awards for those guys who rescued the trapped family in Caparo.
Pregnant woman, child and father saved from a horrible death.

I guess no one nominated them?
