The MGW and TARE painted to the side for a reason they have the authority to order a weighing or impound a vehicle for breach or regulation.

Plus, an overloaded truck is a hazard to other motorists.....

Overloaded trucks can damage roads and bridges just because of the extra weight on the axle.

i agree with it making vehicles being road worthy and within the correct weight. but these people only doing it for money not road safety .
it should not take all day to sort out stuff in licensing office. they wasting people time .

Fine should be much more. This practice destroys the roads. Only problem for the truck drivers is they don't know they're overloaded. Should have a scale at the exit of each quarry for them to check before going out on the road. Til they get that just load less in the truck.

Not true, what damages the roads are cement Trucks and the fact that our contractors pave roads with the intention of poor quality so it will mash up fast.

Cement Trucks carry 20 ton of concrete in a small area, that mashing up the sh!tty roads in this country easy which means more money for our contractors for election so they can do more Sh!tty work for our tax dollars.

In any event ticket all ah them cacaholes raise the fines because they are a major hazard to motorists. Also these Trucks that are running poor quality tires or retreaded tires that keep bursting out on the highway causing damages to people cars because they decide to leave the damaged tires on the highway what will they do about that?

2 days ago I had to go around a trucker who was taking his time in the right lane with a missing tail gate, probably so that the tiny load of sand wouldn't blow out by the time he reached his destination.
