Does it really matter if he wants to do it for the look considering the amount of 2WD SUVs (Tucson, Sportage, X-Trail, Qashqai, Rush, RAV4, etc.) out there?

Weren’t there some sx4 with 4WD in Trinidad . Great car and the mods that are available on the various sx4 specific forums are amazing . If you have the money then why not

Exactly what I'm thinking. Plus the added ground clearance will help some.

That ground clearance is a good idea , especially with low water flooding on some roads.
