National Security Minister Stuart Young intends to block the organisers of a four day, three-night “sex extravaganza,” called Sex Island, which has selected an island off T&T’s coast for its next event.
The New York Post reported the article headlined “Sex Island reveals secret location of coke-fueled bash.”
It is being promoted as a “drug-fueled” sex event that will cost between US$4500 and US$6000.
According to the NY Post, it will be hosted at a “swanky resort on a private island off the coast of Trinidad and Tobago.”
For their money, the 50 guests will reportedly each have two prostitutes available to them and receive unlimited food and drinks. Most of the women reportedly hail from Colombia, Brazil, Puerto Rico, and other South American countries.
But National Security Minister Stuart Young seems to be in the dark about the event.
Although the article said the organisers claimed to have gotten the “go-ahead” from local authorities, Minister Young said “this is the first that this has come to my attention.”
According to him, “I shall be giving instructions to authorities including the TTPS and Immigration that this is NOT to be permitted in Trinidad and Tobago. I have already passed this NY Post article onto law enforcement.”
CNC3 also understands Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith is aware of the post and intends to investigate further.
The Post also contacted this country’s Tourism Ministry, which said it never heard of the event. It also advised the publication that both drugs and prostitution are illegal in this country.

Why would they stop them if they're the ones attending them?
