Off course but you would need a water pump lubricant with it unless they reformulated it.

^thanks, was getting around to adding the water wetter to a turbocharged application that is extremely hot
would be interesting to note the changes in temperature across the range on the autometer

I would prefer a quality coolant over water wetter
What water wetter does is reduces surface tension so the water 'adheres' to metal better for improved heat transfer
I proper coolant wouldn't need that extra help
