Well it looks like the rain is making an entrance and what is disheartening is the fact that now its going to be a wet mess with potholes becoming real craters and the annual floods with citizens suffering loses etc.
It is just too predictable what we all are about to face and it certainly isn't something to look forward too.
…….Hoping for the best but expecting the worse is just our normal.

First rains be like that. All the sooty oil and such pollutants for half a year would come out with the first soaking and form a very slick layer on all the roads.

Not necessarily. As was explained June to August is going to have less than normal rain fall so water ban may not be lifted that easily.

it will take at least weeks of rain to recover from months of little rain so not yet (although i think maybe north trinidad had more rain)

Stinks with the hose ban still in effect but the rainy season preview is really welcome.

I hope some measures have been taken for the rainy season, especially in those epically flooded areas from last season.

Due to the passage of a tropical wave, adverse weather is forecast to begin after midnight across Trinidad and Tobago. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible across both islands.
