What to use to stick an emblem on the car grill?

Fellow tuners in the tunerworld, I need some assistance in this problem . I have an emblem that I would like to stick on the grill of my car. It has a metal flat base to be seated on the grill (it is a right angled metal piece so it stands up with ease). The grille has a flat area (ground level) so I can stick it there easy. Originally it came with 3m red tape. That did not last long. I would like to know what locally an adhesive can I stick it to the grill.Must tolerate heat. The grill is a piano black..plastic? Also I don't want it to damage the grill if I want the emblem off later on. Much appreciated. Someone suggested epoxy for windshield glass in allied .

3M has a clear 2 sided tape, that works great.I used it to install a lip kit.

3M has an automotive adhesion tape that used for this purpose.

dunno the name of it though....

you can use that.

Can it withstand high heat conditions and engine heat ?

It can withstand heat and certain chemicals

I can't remember where exactly but a few inches of this tape was sold to me for this same purpose since I didn't need the whole roll.

3m vhb tape used it to stick number plates held on for 9 years and counting. Last time I saw it was at allied home store.

I remember asking for a 3m tape to withstand heat and they did not have any.. a month ago

The 3m emblem adhesive is very permanent so don't use if you may have the need to remove. The outdoor tape works very well.

Damn that 3M VHB tape is an engineering miracle! Watching some videos on YouTube on it. Very heavy duty and reliable. So reliable that they used it in construction to permanently bond exterior panels in the Chicago O'Hare Airport and the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

It takes 24 hours to cure the bond 100%. How expensive is it though, and where to buy?

there are different types of VHB. The clear one is pretty darn strong. I bought a small roll of clear VHB at bhagwansinghs in piarco last week
