If you using AA the Dolphin parking garage is right across from Terminal D.

Last 3 times I went was at night and there wasn't any guard there. You went in the daytime or night?

I used it a few times, from late night to wee hours. First time the guard was there but i missed seeing anyone in the booth when i entered. The guard came out when i parked and noted my license plate. Place could use an airport WiFi hookup though.

yeah. whats the scene at miami airport?
how close is the parking there?
even at the closest terminal (american), you have to walk for almost 10 minutes to the train, then ride that to the lot. not so?

Yes, with Miami and Piarco being of the same approximate size I can see your point.

You've paid for 2 hours parking but have some form of delay (unexpected bathroom visit, followed by sudden heavy rainfall for 30 mins) what do you then do? You've paid for 2 hrs, it's been 1 hr and 40 mins, do you have to pay for the 2 hours again?

Yes, you would have to pay again. Happened to me. And i had to reverse and go pay again. Another lane the man said he not reversing and left his car there and walked back. Created some traffic.

Correct. Most people seem hell bent on parking on the perimeter in the no stopping no waiting zones though and always "was making a phonecall" or more upset than officers who tell them to remove their vehicles.

It’s such a convenient and easy parking and waiting setup. The WiFi isn’t that important. Most people have data packages or a simple sms or call can work. What it does need is a proper washroom facility.

He seems more concerned about it being expensive. To leave his car and go Miami every weekend is getting expensive.

You are correct .

Paid close to a $1,200 TT

My silk tie had to be sold .

All the parking in Miami is luxury !

You park in covered areas and is elevator , escalator and moving belt to walk ..

And when you return your BMW is washed, polished and waxed and then detailed .

You are then given tasty cucumber sandwiches and a choice of tea, coffee or a fruit jugo with a splash of vodka while being given an authentic Brazil weave foot massage while watching cage fighting .

In Trini it's just tanty with a bad attitude and boys on bicycles play cops & robbers.

Parking at Pearson International airport is $8 Canadian per hour. That's $45 TTD.

Also, the payment system is automated like at Piarco.

$10TT is $1.85 Canadian...... Let's hope the prices dont rise.

Minimum wage in Toronto is CAD14 per hour though.

We aren't discussing the minimum wage differentials. Let's stick to the parking topic to remain in context.

If persons had to use the airport everyday, your contribution on the minimum wage difference would've been a relevant factor to consider.

Also, the parking in Trinidad 75% cheaper than in most foreign airports.

I'm showing how useless your comparison is as not does not account for purchasing power differential

14/63= .24 or 24%

10/44= .23 or 23%

If we're considering the purchasing power parity via a minimum wage per hour argument and the cost of airport parking per hour then Trinidadians pay a fair price for the service.

What is a fair price in your opinion?

Yes I have my pass and free parking at the airport but my comment wasn't about "me" it was about ppl who brakes paying the $10 but consume more in fuel going in circles and park on the shoulder risking a ticket from ether the TTPS or AA
