yeah. whats the scene at miami airport?
how close is the parking there?
even at the closest terminal (american), you have to walk for almost 10 minutes to the train, then ride that to the lot. not so?
pete wrote:My only gripe is the 20 mins to leave the carpark. Sure to avoid exceeding the 20 mins just pay as you are ready to leave but if say you paid at an hour and 5 mins. You've paid for 2 hours parking but have some form of delay (unexpected bathroom visit, followed by sudden heavy rainfall for 30 mins) what do you then do? You've paid for 2 hrs, it's been 1 hr and 40 mins, do you have to pay for the 2 hours again?
Correct. Most people seem hell bent on parking on the perimeter in the no stopping no waiting zones though and always "was making a phonecall" or more upset than officers who tell them to remove their vehicles.matix wrote:Both day and night

He seems more concerned about it being expensive. To leave his car and go Miami every weekend is getting expensive.

Yes, with Miami and Piarco being of the same approximate size I can see your point.

Minimum wage in Toronto is CAD14 per hour though.marcop2487 wrote:Parking at Pearson International airport is $8 Canadian per hour. That's $45 TTD.
Also, the payment system is automated like at Piarco.
$10TT is $1.85 Canadian...... Let's hope the prices dont rise.
We aren't discussing the minimum wage differentials. Let's stick to the parking topic to remain in context.Dizzy28 wrote:Minimum wage in Toronto is CAD14 per hour though.marcop2487 wrote:Parking at Pearson International airport is $8 Canadian per hour. That's $45 TTD.

If persons had to use the airport everyday, your contribution on the minimum wage difference would've been a relevant factor to consider.
Also, the parking in Trinidad 75% cheaper than in most foreign airports.
