Sad but true. Plenty times I see people on the side of the road and know I could help but I don't like to make unplanned stops out of fear. I wudda probably driven past just like the van driver in hopes of just not getting myself involved.... yeah I don't think I'm a good person....

You turn into that corner and see a SUV parked on your lane, you have to be careful of what coming over the hill because you in the wrong lane while passing the SUV and any minute a car could appear in front of you.

now if any caring policeman want to give him d benefit of d doubt cud go with him in his car & see if from where he was sitting\driving if its true .....

Yeah I could only believe some of uncle's story.

Falkie was pulling up home and watching the spot to park never seeing the woman on the road. Only when he come out the car and see her he walk back to see what happen.

The part I find hard to believe is that after the first 'drive-over' how he still didn't see her?
Is not like she was in d middle of the road and in a blind spot after coming around the parked vehicle (xtrail?)

Her body was lying all the way off the road and she was right next to him, so he didn't even have to 'lean out' or re-adjust his seating postion to 'see wey he mash' - He would have had to see her feet/legs at least, especially when right NEXT to her.

And look quite where he drive up and stop.
Also look at the "haste" in which he went to assist the lady.
Seems like despite knowing of the camera, he wasn't going to turn back until Panel Van tell him something.

If he was driving a LHD, he might have had a better chance of that excuse working.

But my $0.02 is that I feel Falkie trying a smart thing to get he punishment reduced.

...he said he is a damn good driver for almost 30 years. Does that mean he is a careful/responsible driver?

....he said he thought he mashed garbage since the garbage truck was not far behind. In my opinion I would avoid the garbage because idk if it have nails etc...and them low profiles....more worries.

yrs ago when only a few yrs after i got my license i ran over a vagrant foot , he was sleeping on d ground

i did see him & i know i was passing close to him but i dunno if he stretched his foot at d same time or if i mashed him by passing too close , not sure

put him in d car & took him to d health center which had a line as usual so i say i gonna go tell my family at home what happened & ask what to do ,when i came back about a hr later they say d man get up & gone he way without leaving any info

nearly shat bricks that day ... goes to show stuff can happen to anybody
