New recruits learn real TT policing. Look over Training Day movie. Ever wonder why no cash is ever found on a raid.

Bikes are not use in crime prevention but only to assit to transportation of large trucks. What's on those truck we yet to know.

This wasn't in Diego but in Pinto arima and the attempted robbery happened a couple weeks back.
He succumbed to his injuries.

He was involved in some crime prevention work in Enterprise already in the T&T Cit­i­zens Al­liance Against Crime initiative that supposedly saw some good results (I've been told). I talked to one of the organizers of the initiative and the ideas they employed seemed pretty forward thinking. It is a step in the right direction as it targets problems like the police-public relationship, response time and presence but at the end of the day you have to remember that whatever they do will just be a plaster on an open wound. Law enforcement is supposed to be the last line of defence when all else fails, yet it's the only "solution" we look at. Our problems are with corruption and culture. Any serious crime fighting initiative needs to start with corruption first. How do you think illegal drugs and firearms get into our country in the first place to allow gangs to fund and protect themselves? Corruption presents the opportunity for many crimes and keeps the market open. No amount of law enforcement is going to fix that. No matter how forward thinking it is.

So I think he is a great guy from what I heard and I expect some short term results (in time for election I guess) but I'm not optimistic about long term effects and I will place no blame on him. Nobody in his position can fix all of our problems and that's not going to be his fault.
