I've noticed a lot of brown outs and voltage dips recently. The frequency of such things are only increasing.

They won't work. The cell towers that they connect to may cease to function also. They do not connect with the same band as mobile LTE.

Over the last 6 weeks Mc Bean, Couva has been hit with numerous outages lasting from a split second to a couple of hours.
The impact on communication and appliances continues to be negative.
Lights with electronic controllers end up with shortened life spans and having avoided the wireless 'upgrade' thus far at least I can plug in the old style phone and remain available by tele.
Presently, I am doing all in my power to avoid the wireless telephone upgrade, at least until they can improve the associated service.
We cant get the basics right and service providers keep doing things they just not properly prepared for.

I can't say whether the band is the same. WTTx from Bmobile is band 41 IIRC.
