Yea ban he mc...

Anyway, if you guys haven't already done so, please go invest in some circuit breakers and power supplies for your home. There are 110 and 220v break-o-matic types to plug in your appliances.. These days is real men tv and ting getting fried and there is no warranty once that type of damage is done

Maybe one of the ac men could chime in on what types to use for AC units etc. I Know of the ones to use with freezer and chiller boxes could be acquired from mecal fab

the circuit breakers I bought do low voltage too not just spikes. Anything below 105 trips it

There are undervoltage circuit breakers designed to protect motors from overheating.

Perhaps nick is referencing a power line conditioner when he said power supply.

Power line conditioners will regulate supply voltages from around 90V to 145V back to 115V to 120V. There are also conditioners for 230/240V.

Much of the damage you will see from voltage fluctuation is to electronic controls and devices.

TTEC is supposed to supply 115/230V +/- 6% (108/216V to 120/240V) but often sends 110V to 140V to homes.

^ wta....

Anyone else notice anything?

Around 2am my desktop board blew a cap.....

I didn't get time to investigate properly yet but maybe just a coincidence.

Edit: Was plugged into UPS with surge protection.

Saturday morning about 4 am I woke up and the ac was blowing hot with it showing an error code E5 (daikin unit). I took it off and turned it back on and it worked again since then. Wondering after reading this post if the power fluctations caused that?

Do the newer mains boxes with built in voltage regulation cost a lot more than regular ones?

There are voltage regulation transformers (very expensive) and whole house surge protector panels (about the price of a loaded panel).

I did, but it wasn't about fornicating, it was about Tokesy being unable to use a JUHN Scarfy pic. It was most likely removed by elitecorolla for inciting racial undertones

I use these.
works for under and over voltage. has a 3 minute time delay for when it loses power and comes back.

I don't even know much about that solar... I wonder what's the extent they can be running daily, like AC and stuff.

In a valsayn house I seen a generator put down, running off lpg.. solid 8hrs entire house with central AC etc could be off the grid yes
