Ok fellas, got need to get an AGM battery, ASAP, for a vehicle with a newly installed audio system. Owner complained about not being able to start on a couple occasions, as well as bass volume dropping really low, and after i looked under the hood and saw the power master PB-acid battery I already knew what was the problem. Not enough power due to battery being insufficient, it old, maybe 2 years or so. Standing voltage on it is 12.2, alternator is rated at 90A & charging @ 14.4 steady but as soon as the subs kick in it's dropping down to 12.9-13.1, even lower for long low sub notes, and this is with only the system playing, no accessories such as ac, lights etc..
Owner intends to upgrade alternator and cables as well, but want to start with the battery today if possible.
So what options are available locally, pricing, location, opinions on reliability and where he can get it today if possible.
I know Steve's carrying the stinger line, anything else available?
