since the 2008 mortgage crises. raising capital through the subprime lending 'thing'. agressively investing that money in the vairous hedge schemes. the aggressive 'pump' in some places woudl induce the dump in other places. losing that capital to cover the mortgages, raising the interest generate more money, til people defaulted. causing the whole thing to crash.

inside all that, some pensions and money market schemes and what not would lose their ability to be profitable, causing them to default.

ups and downs is the name of the game, but the sheer amount they would have moved, would swing the whole thing violently. and nobody forcing the people to take the mortgages, except that that is how they teach their people to work their money. they cant do what they were never taught.

i cant explain the mechanics well cause i dont understand them well(hence y u called me out on that). but the complexity is how they create seemee deemee ways to justify taking money out the system.
the sheer amount those funds do it by, is what cause the great swings that would have caused the instruments that the smaller people would crash in the down swings.

this latest reddit bros ting is the same thing, but from the small people pooling resurces and doing the same thing. jess this time, the changes were induced from the bottom, instead of laterally from the top.

This facting market is crazy.
A couple years ago i took a lil gamble on an OTC pennystock.
It failed of course, as penny stocks tend to. But I held on to it.

This week i checking the account and the facting thing up 1100 percent. It was only a couple hundred bucks investment but still.

Anyway folks, penny stocks are evil. keep away.

Now the witch hunt begins because a few stupid people waded too far into the water.

Small investor vs big investor, wicked establishment blah blah blah.
There will be a movie and books....I bet a Netflix special....Activision should make a game.

Shorting stocks is a legitimate part of the pricing mechanism...helps manage risk and infact spread risk.

Targeted campaigns against someone else's position is as old as the markets.

What a mess
