Vans are still great for transport and high ride...but tha diesel price and high maintenace cost making it undesirable....hybrid cars are a better option

Non-common rail and a stringent maintenance schedule to prevent an expensive engine replacement is probably the best option yes, because the deplorable roads and constant flooding in certain areas doesn't favour a hybrid car.

EDIT: I know this is a new pickup thread and it's unlikely that any of our local dealerships still bring in pickups with a non-CR type engine. It was just some food for thought

Sales Rep said the facelift features was just the front bumper grill and fog lamps..
This applies to both the 2.4L and 2.8L
however only the FLD has the DRL

You may be confusing brand with model. The Chevrolet Silverado, Ford F150 and Dodge Ram are best in class (full size pickup) but don't have much other competition in the US.

Midsized RHD pickup trucks worldwide are currently led by Mitsubishi, Nissan and Toyota, in that order.
