$1000 Ea fitted.

tyres also come with a FREE 2 year emergency roadside assistance from Bridgestone Internantional done through a local provider - emergency jump start, tyre change, tow (up to US$75)

and a 1 year pro rated road hazzard warranty

next best was Toyo Open country A/T for $1265 at Mileage Mack

did not consider any of the chinese brands, but there wee quite a few for less that $1000 each

What size for that price?

definitely know it is not 17"...somehow ramrattan and laughlin le gannes who is now selling Firestone do not carry 17"

BFG is much better than Bighorn imho. As for the other mud tyres, it depends on what size rim you have and where your budget is.

Ok so it's that time again. Looking for something A/T in 17"
Anywhere from 265/65 - 285/70

I called tyre clinic in couva but their selection limited to one Dunlop model for 1350 each at 275/65/17

Anyone have suggestions as to where else I should try?

M Ramrattan has Bridgestone at $1500 last time I checked.

I also saw a Hilux using some 17" Maxxis. Try Singh and Sons in penal for that

I using 285-70-17 sailun all terrains from Racetrac.. Never run it in d mud but it performs well for on road dry and wet conditions. I think it was 1100 per tyre. I saw comforsers mud terrain if u interested for 1100 for one as well in marabella. When I priced maxxis bighorn 17s at Singh's it was 1750 275-70-17 I believe

Check M. Ramrattan for the Firestone Destinations as well. Ours has 55,000+ on it, and looks like it can go at least another 20,000 kms. I think our 265/16's cost around 1100 VI with Nitrogen, balancing, etc

didn't know that about the 17s :( and the only dealers I know of are Ramrattan, and Kamus Muffler.
I believe the Toyo A/T comes in the 17s though; Mileage Mack has those. That's a very decent A/T but has a softer compound, so don't expect stellar longevity.

Note on ACL. The Goodyear Wranglers they have are the SR-A model which is a H/T tyre and not a A/T :(
The search continues
