That's pretty damn good. Where did you get those and at what price?

Got them from the penal guy . All terrain. I had tried the HT but found they did not last long. I got them in 275 so no problem cornering. Does not touch but close. I do not thing 285 will fit without lifting the vehicle. I drive agressive on country roads so I expect less aggressive drivers on better sufaces will get longer life. Only upgrade I can think of is the BFG but that money is a serious deterrent

I prioritize excellent grip and comfort over price and longevity (higher treadware generally means less grip). Too much people "lose control" on the roads these days - tyres and suspension is one area where I refuse to cheap out on.
But to each their own, I know Trinis generally don't like spending money on good tyres, that's why the tyre dealers bring in so much cheap Chinese brands and the foreign used tyre market continues to thrive.

Well i have no such problems I sling around corners in the night from blanchieuse and never once did I feel any give . So I find the maxiss AT that I have is a Tru all rounder. Good grip and long enough life at a reasonable price. Though I am pretty sure alot of mud will defeat it. I how ever do not really do that
That being said I did go tru a mud pit up to the axles with clay mud and she surprisingly pulled thru

My biggest problem with KO2 local that the local dealers sell the KO2 at more than double the price of the MAXISS yet it the USA the price is less than 25 percent higher. Seems like price gorging taking place. I cannot suscribe to that.

That's probably why they cann afford to have the buy three get one free sale every year.

Even so the price is still more than 50 percent higher than the maxxis. Price gorge!

~1 year report on the Maxxis AT 771:

Put about 12K on them so far.

Good wet traction, better than equivalent dunlops.
Good hydroplane handling.
Decent wear to date, minimal noise.

I don't mud too much, but when I take my daily shitty back road to avoid traffic, it handles it pretty good through the muddy parts.

I'm impressed with this tyre.

So 4 months later on the bfg mt dry handling is superb. Wet 8 outta 10. Rd noise minimal but I expect it to get louder as it wears. Looks 10 outta 10. Ride comfort 10 outta 10. I live this tire. Will be hard pressed to not buy again. Wear so far is excellent but I really only did bout 3000k since lol

Sorry, I misunderstood your question lol. I'm pretty sure that size will not fit without a lift but who knows, maybe it may just clear if you have the right combo of offset and clever caster
