Guys,

I was looking for a new diesel pickup and had narrowed it down to either the 2014 Isuzu d max or the 2014 T6 ranger. I drove both vehicles and decided on the ranger. I got my 1st Ford range about 2 weeks ago.

Its the 2.2 6speed auto. I have used this as a daily driven vehicle from san fdo to POS daily and return. No complains thus far. I initially got fuel consumption at 11litres per 100kms but its down to 10litres /100kms.

Mileage is at 800kms. I expect 9 litres /100kms but I know as the engine breaks in the fuel economy will be better. From 1/2 tank to full is $55.

Looking forward to the future with the ranger.

Hi guys I recently bought a local used 2010 ranger auto/4x4 with the 2.5tdci engine, I must say I'm enjoying my new ride seeing that I owned 3 cars before. Does this model comes with an LSD rear differential?

I remember seeing it in the Bamboo. Forgot the name of the place, but it was the 3rd or 4th shop on the right after Bobby's Auto. Has a yellow wall (I think) in front the building. Same chrome rear light.

Guya's on Cipero Street, San Fernando, has the tail lights for both Ranger and B2500, but not the chrome version.

Can't help you with the flares though. You will have to look around in the bamboo for them, but I suspect that might be extremely difficult to source.

So I have had my 2.2 ranger for 3 months now and I have clocked (8200kms). Daily driven from San Fdo to POS and back.
At my 1st service (5000kms) amsoil engine oil was used and a software upgrade was done. this made a world of difference.

The ranger feels a lot more powerful and fuel economy initially was 11litres/100kms, then dropped to10l and now after my 1st service fuel economy is 8 litres/100kms @120kms per hr. if I reduce my speed to <100kph I get 7.2 litres per 100kms.

I get close to 400kms per half tank of diesel.

So far so good. I purchased this ride with fuel economy in mind and thus far it has not disappoint at all.

Sorry for the late reply.
Buy a deep socket and use an impact gun on it.
With that said, why take out the injector when all you doing is taking off the tappit cover. Isn't that basically the engine head cover?

Hey guys,

Looking for a good mechanic in Central area to change out a couple busted boot rubbers and grease some noisy cradle bolts on my 4x4 Ranger. I don't go into Port of Spain anymore so the stealership is out of the question. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

had a similar problem
but my was caused by the injector seal going bad and carbon built up around the injector making it hard to come out. had to shake it and pull it out.

I had my 2nd service today (13,500kms)

this van is 5 months old and loving every day with it.

Basic service was done and no complaints thus far.

driving from south to POS and back every day I consistently get 8L/100kms

I would love to get my hands on a 3.2 wildtrak seeing that ANSA is bringing these in.

MERCON V is recommended. You can Use Amsoil ATF(which meets this requirement).

1.3Quarts as stated in the manual.

Hey folks (long time lurker, first time poster), quick question.. i'm trying to do some research on the SVT Raptor model of the Ford Ranger. I've seen a few here and there around Trinidad but cant seem to find any concrete info on where/how these are available to purchase? Does McEneary Motors carry these? Are they foreign used? Are people just buying the SVT Raptor grille online for a "custom" look?

I think the firm (Ford) sells the original Motocraft battery with a 3 yrs warranty. Not too sure of the price.

Raptor and ranger are two different vehicles, what the user believes he's seeing is the ranger with the similar grill to the raptor.
AFAIK there's only one Raptor here, full factory conversion to RHD and its for sale.(as posted above)
If you've ever seen a Raptor in person, you'd know it's not the same
