Try some different diesel. I know for a fact this week gone had a bad batch of diesel.

I dropped one tank and my friend in Toyota dropped at least 4 since I spoke to him Thursday

Hey guys I have a 2010 d40 4x4 manual and I'm getting vibration, it's begins at around 40km/h on the steering wheel and then transfers to the entire vehicle when the speed is increased. I've changed 2 cross members, front wheel bearing, cradle bushings, rear diff pinion seal, swapped tires and rims, align, camber, castor and rotated the tires. The firm doesn't know what is causing it ,now they are saying it could be the flywheel or drive shaft. Any advice would be appreciated

Drain out the fuel filter and the water trap filter. You may have picked up on some bad diesel. Used a fuel treatment in your next full up . Fuel medic is what I would recommend tho.

Just did this actually(did not work)
Im more inclined to thinking it is a problem with the ethrottle.
Cuz i lose power after quarter throttle
And it starts to black smoke

Someone must have encountered this before

Had the 'Sports Version" emblem removed from my van after getting the tailgate re-painted. ABW said it was rubber and it got damaged when they were taking it off.

Long shot, but does anyone know where i can get that emblem?

Thanks....

Sounding like injectors or rail will do some more research and get back to you.

How about your air filter? I know a common issue with Navaras is the intake duct sometimes "collapses" on itself when the air filter is clogged/ very dirty. Let someone rev the van while you watch the intake.

Truth here op... Wont hurt to take a look

ill support this also but definitely check the integrity of the intake duct for the collapsing

the duct itself was a major complaint for a lot of people, the filter just exacerbated it. Dunno if Nissan updated the quality in later models, but if they did, I would change it as well.

K&N air filter and a piece of 3inch pvc inside the duct or you can go full hard pipe ,works great on solving that issue.

The duct was updated somewhere around 2011 but I can't say exactly but when I had that episode that was resolved with the cheated filter it never came back again. Good to see the thread so active these days

This was my exact problem
Couldn't believe it was a dirty airfilter
Causing the line to collapse
SMH
Thanks fellas

Changed mine to aluminum piping couple years back. Supposed to have a picture some pages back. Cost around 700 at Blue Coral Racing.

Glad to hear that was the issue, and it wasn't anything more serious :)
I'm curious to hear the price from Steal and Rob We though; if you guys decide to take the OEM route, please post the price.

Bit of an emergency but heard the weird hissing sound again and my radiator was basically empty but the temperature gauge didn't go up. Got a burnt smell but I think it smells like oil but it could just be the Coolant . Any suggestions for any good person to check out the Navara heating system . This is two days before the van has to go for a routine service . Topped up the coolant and did a test drive but it returned and I can't see any leaking coolant but there is a small amount at the overflow con gainer pipe but that's also mainly steam
