For anyone interested in importing a Navara from the UK. RUN REAL FAR! These have diesel particulate filters. FML

The air filter, oil filter and a/c filter are the same as the local navaras. The aventura and the lesser model also carry same engine and tranny as the locals. The UK navara has only one fuel filter unlike the local which has two. The brake pads are slightly different, the rotors, the inner and outer steering ends, the rear brake shoes as well.

The biggest issue however is with the diesel and the DPF.

They also have similar defects as the thailand navaras where the turbo hoses fail at 6 years like clockwork followed by the turbo.

Just posting this in case some one else thinks about it.

BUT the biggest point to note is that only here in trinidad we treat a pickup as a "luxury" vehicle where as in every other part of the world, they are what they are, work or utility vehicles. As such these vehicles are heavily abused and sold after a 4 to 5 year period.

Them rates quoted for taxes and duties are for gas vehicles...I recently bought a UK navara and paid ~32k in taxes and duties...engine is approx $1.85 per cc. I brought a 2.5 automatic diesel. However you have to import under a company name.

English = chassis rust...why... they salt the roads at winter. The problem is highlighted with our climate
