Im also looking for some rotors to buy and the cradle bushing(upper and Lower). Anyone ever changed the CV joint? also the wheel bearings at the front, are there 1 on each side or 2 on each side?

I bought japaneese upper cradle bushings from FAIZ in marabella for my 4x4 bt50 on advice from the alignment man... however on pulling out the cradles my bushings are good.

I would appreciate you take the new unused upper cradle bushings off my hands. They cost me $520 on the 3rd April 2014. See attached bill. I am asking $450 for them just to recover some cash. Willing to meet you for hand delivery.
Please send your contact number.

F.Y.I. OEM part at Southern Sales is $360 VI for one front upper cradle bush. 2 per side is required. 4 in total.

The B2500 has 2 wheel bearings per side. Bamboo Marketing had a full front suspension when I passed about 2 weeks ago, they had the rotors. The CV joints are a pain to change, maxed out a 20T press on one, used penetrating oil soaked overnight, and beat it with a sledge.. never popped out. Had to drop it by my machine shop to extract, but otherwise it's an easy change. Unbolt both upper and lower ball joints, remove brake caliper, to pop CV out of front diff, use two pry bars on either side and pry evenly. The axle nut is a 36mm, get an air impact. Hope the outer CV end comes out easy.

The B2500 and BT50 might have some differences though, so I was told..

Getting some oil on the exhaust side of my turbo. Is there a turbo seal kit for the mazda bt 50 WL engine? 2007 model. Or do I need to think about a new turbo?

Simple rebiuld. If its not bad leave it. Or do a simple rebuild. I did my own rebuild and it works well

To do a rebuild of the turbo, wouldn't I need to get all the seals? Where can I get them? If there's a kit available.

Good day any feedback where i can get a head to buy for a bt-50, wl engine ? so far only got at faiz. thanks

EDIT
Just incase if someone else reading this forum figured i would give my experience. When the engine is cold and parked up for a while (overnight) it would require extra cranking of the starter to start, with an idle with what seems as "misfiring" also the vibration was excessive and alot of smoke and last, a redcution in power. I didnt notice any significant reduction of coolant, as i had the problem repaired within 2 to 3 days off noticing. Head was changed, no smoke on start up, requires less work off the starter to start and an increase in power... van working well again, also no thermostat installed as as i couldnt get one to buy, timing belt belt changed also.

For me it didn't make a difference. Climbs to the same operating temperature. Takes about two minutes longer.

Btw the thermostat is still installed but gutted.

Benefit I was interested in is it cannot stick in the closed position since its all gutted.

Stock radiator stock clutch fan still installed. Electric fan installed in front of ac condenser and hooked up to compressor.

Has any one experienced problems with erratic/erroneous fuel level reading on the Guage?

I now suspect the low mileage/tank of fuel was a result of faulty level reading.
On and empty tank with light on it takes only 15$ diesel to fill. And the gauge will go to half.

Anyone had this problem on their bt50?
What was the solution?

Went to the electrician because my speedo isnt working, tried to trigger it manually and it didn't respond, told me that generally the instr panel is troublesome and needs to be replaced, however in my case everything else works, im using it until i decide to replace it.

When in 4x4 heading downhill, I'm getting a clack clacking noise from the front. No noise heading uphill though. Is it CV joints?
