If it had a driver versed in the arts of 2wd, it would have made it up the hill easier.. Lol

Front end clearance was very good, steep approach angle, the rear bumper on the other hand needs to adjust to increase the departure angle. The rear had touched the ground. I gave him a nice suggestion to transfer some weight to the rear of the vehicle and lighten up the front end a bit.. *hint hint*

You guys under estimating the difficulty of my hill.. Lol

Even locked up, you will need a running start to climb it, especially if your rear end light..

Looks good man.

How is the engine cooling system handling the high revs?

Aye v, u may remember me tellin u abt ur rear being too light. Ive seen this off balance happen before. Heavy, big hp in d front and lightened back. U cld compensate with adding weight and locking up.

Right...So new 4 core radiator installed....Built by rapid radiators on cipero street..... Nice and shiny....Lets see how it takes the pressure....The previous radiator was one from a 2LTE surf but had to be modified because of the RN46 chassis being used...(Its narrower than the surf chassis..) The new one was built especial for this engine and chassis, 4 core for the capacity taken out by accomodating the chassis....Fit without a hitch.....well mostly....lol

So I went on my first off road run in one of the more challenging trails for Side B, Morne Diablo, also my first trail when I joined Side B. It was to dry really for any sort of challenge except for some dexterity/flexing of the suspension in some areas. Almost the entire run was done in 2wd....except for one hill climb....Tested the 4wd (didnt really try it in 2wd)...

Before the run however, the roll bar was completed and installed as well as some retentioned springs. Was swapped from a hilux whose owner didnt like the ride with them. Swapp was done by the master builder ofcourse, droppa. I gained about two inches more in height as will as one stiff ride. My shocks however are too short as they are now fully extended, therefore limiting down travel. Here is how the van looks now and the rear flex I'm getting...Photos courtesy Mr. Lighthammer.
