So guys... any of the ZD30 guys ever had to service your fuel pump?

Having some issues with a loud "clacking" noise from cold start, which goes away after i pump up the primer pump. Also if parked on an incline, after starting, the diesel line from the primer to the engine gets emptied and engine stalls, and i need to prime it again before I could start..

Now a few people told me its just the primer pump that's bad, because the van runs fine after its started, but the rest are saying the injector pump needs servicing..

So anyone here could speak from experience or offer some advice? Hearing that servicing these pumps is a little upward of $8000 at SDS etc.. so hoping that its just my primer pump bad.

Looking for this, or the name at least so I can source it.
It's bolted to a bracket on the chassis on one end and bolted to a bracket on the exhaust on the other. Under the tray.
The rubber burst in mine and had to saw off one bolt.

Any help appreciated

Check your local area exhaust man. Bracket easy to mod to fit a regular oval rubber

So anyone knows where I might be able to find a gearbox for a TD27 engine (in a Frontier)? Checked bamboo but didn't find any.

Have other options? Somewhere I read the qd32 box fits.

But thanks for the help with the exhaust guys. Got a solid rubber block with a bolt sticking out each end. They bolt up in the holes on the brackets.
Forgot to take pics. Was installed in like 5 minutes, diy

Getting fed up of no ABS, everytime you slam is a loud screech and everyone turning around to see the "bang".
Wanted to drop in a turbo charger next year so looking for brake upgrades first.

Looks like its gonna be awhile before any of those NP300's be deemed "unserviceable" and auctioned off. so trying to make do with what I have.

Google says its best to buy a new vehicle but that involves rides like volvos and the like.
Is it that hard for a Nissan in Trinidad? What kind of parts list one looking at for such a feat?

Wanted to upgrade the braking system and add a turbocharger.
Guess I can leave the truck as is, got no problems.
Getting broader tyres soon so I'll see how that does with the annoying screech.

Can someone give me an opinion on what i plan to do I was planning to get some 17x9 rims and put mud tires on them and put them on my van(engine less than 3l) but I'm hearing that if I go higher than 15" rims with MUDs on a van that engine is less than 3l it will struggle if I go off-road with it how true is that? Is the 17x9 with MUDs really to heavy for vans under 3l engines? I drove my panda 2.2 manual ranger 4x4 the other day it has some 15x8 with 33" mud tires and I found it to be a bit lose on the roads. So I just want to confirm if the MUDs really rob the van of power and if you guys recommend the 17x9 with MUDs

I personally have never heard about that or experienced it....

I will say M/T for everyday driving makes no sense and impractical after driven quite a few thousand with them... Road noise being the biggest problem

These days the "in" thing is to build and have a pickup looking like an OffRoad monster when in fact they are 4x2 with a lift kit and M/T
