I think it indicates that the truck has permission from the ministry of transport to drive up 1 way streets.its usually found on larger trucks trucks an I would assume is depends on what they transport.cuz so far I noticed a lot of RAMCO TRUCKS HAVE THEM.

extra heavy there are drive u can make with a truck which hv d S on them ,that u cant do with any other

S on the truck means that it supposed to have a special route to follow according to the Road traffic act.... permission is given by the ministry of transport and.the ttps...
but no one follows the laws, because you see trucks carrying loads and using the Road network all over the country in places they not supposed to use.
