Navara 4x4 indicator flashing

Guys need some help have a navara 4×4 AT. My 4wd is working fine but the indicator on the dash keeps flashing, my brother has same navara but a MT and his remains solid. How to fix this ?

Put it in 4x4, drive a lil bit, take off the 4x4, reverse a lil bit.

If that dont work,

Put it in 4x4, put it in park, switch off the vehicle, start back, put it in drive, drive a lil bit anf take off the 4x4.

Sometimes lack of use does cause the 4x4 to stick, so playing around with on/off, forward/backwards can sometimes work.

If that dont help, go do a diagnostic on the van.
