Thinking of buying the new 2010 Cerato, reviews needed

Postby paimanlalla » March 2nd, 2010, 10:51 pm

Hi All

Well as the subject, i'm intrested in getting the new cerato, test drove one today... not gonna say it was great, but was nice, my problems were:
(1) steering... way too responsive, slightest touch throws you in that direction
(2) suspension very soft, the tail feels skidish at higher speeds

wanted to get some feedback from cerato owners about their cars, fuel consumption, maintence, car feel (esp your feedback wrt the suspension and steering) problems, resale value, parts availability and aything else worth knowing for someone intrested in purchasing the car.

2nd consideration isthe new civic, so which do you all think is the better buy?

thanks

There are several reasons to go with the civic over the cerato, firstly because it's a Honda, so chances are that it's gonna be more reliable, tho reliabilty doesn't really seem to be an issue these days.
Another reason not to buy the Kia is because u'd have to buy it from southern sales, who really sucks for service and even for sourcing parts.

I have to say tho, the new cerato is a beautiful car, nice aggressive styling, I think it's the better looking of the two. From what I've seen online of the interior pics of the cerato, I'd have to give the interior finish to the cerato as well.
With good after sales service I'd recommend d cerato, and you won't get that here.

Why not buy a foreign used car, u can get a better and higher grade o f car for less or same money. I bought a new car and thoroughly regretted it afterward.

Good luck
