Great value and feature packed car but it looks way too fast to be so slow with that same cerato 1.6 engine.

Unleash the the 1.6T on us trinis it can't be that much more expensive

We do wish to make the vehicle affordable. Customers do have the option of custom ordering the koup. We have done it a few times with the old model, we brought down the 2.0 l. However, must have patients with custom ordering, since it takes 6-9 months to arrive.

But we can keep out fingers crossed for the 2014 model... Since we do not know the features that it will come with.

The Hyundai elantra uses the same parts so you can get it at Massy. Most of the parts in the Kia cerato are used in the elantra.

Good Day, What type of security system would you all recommend to be installed on your Kia Cerato? GPS or Car Search or other?

Whatever you guys choose make sure you get a service that offers armed recovery of the vehicle if stolen.
Both GPS and Car Search are good options. I know for sure that an installation of a GPS alarm will not void warranty.

Anyone having transmission issues with the Koup? Mine is 2011 and having major problems now. Southern Sales says transmission needs to be overhauled.

Anyone gets a knocking whenever locking the steering all? I complained about this in the first year and was told that's normal. ....now it seems to be getting worse.

hyundais and kias have the problem. some of the models not all.

many times i have heard n7m trying to change steering racks and so on which is not the solution.

it is actually a defect in a small rubber grommet. my uncle had the same problem on his car and had it replaced by his mechanic in a day or so.

They changed mine under warranty.
So kindly inform them that you reported the problem in the first year.
It's actually a TSB on Hyundai side so they fully aware it's a manufacturer defect.

Hi
Have anyone done a Transmission Oil Change on the Cerato Koup 2012 1.6L?
Based on my research its saying that the transmission is sealed and does not require changing the oil but want to confirm this with someone who owns one.
Thanks

Hi
I'm looking for the Power Steering Pump Seal kit for my 2012 Cerato koup.
Any suggestions.
Southern Sales said they don't sell the kit you have to purchase a new pump.
