KIA RIO (MECHANICAL HELP)

Postby ville man » July 26th, 2014, 3:51 pm

Good day.. i have a PBZ KIA RIO it works well but sometimes wen i stop and switch off for a short period and try starting back the engine turns slow as if the battery is dead. The car will then only start back after 1/2 hour or so normal. Can somebody PLEASE tell me whats the problem.. i changed the battery and starter...its neither.

Ok. Sounds a bit weird. Let's see if we can't get a solution. Starter connects to the flywheel, which in turn, rotates the crankshaft and makes the pistons move and so on. If you are getting proper voltage and amperage to your starter then you should be starting normal. Start with finding out the required amps and voltage for the starter to function properly and if u are in fact getting that constantly. If not then u have some electrical work to do.

You have poor electrical connections
Existing hence when vehicle heats up situations arise but when it cools down. Normal
