Does anyone know where I can find a Right Side Mirror assembly (New/Used) for a 2012 Tucson online or in Trinidad? I can only find it online for the LHD Tucson. Can I use a LHD side mirror on a RHD Tucson? Thanks

Anyone know the best place (read "cheap") to get a power steering rack (2006 model gas 2.0L)? Everything online is lefthand drive so I might have to bite the bullet and buy local...

Bumping this thread..I recently purchased a 2006 4x4 Tucson, diesel. Serviced my injectors at Electro Diesel, turns out two nozzles were bad, at a cost of $1150 each plus the $1380 labour cost ($300 per injector, $20 per seal and $25 per washer). He seems to be the most reasonable out of him, Sookhais and United Diesel. So for all the diesel owners..take care of your diesel..also, I saw some owners talking about their Shiftronic not working. Not sure if anyone fixed theirs but the sensor under the gear lever, can be replaced. Besides The Motorist, where do you all purchase parts, like brake pads, etc. I also need a timing belt kit.

I found a comprehensive electronic parts catalogue..hope it helps us all. Happy Tucsoning.

Yea boi Josh, Sookhai's would have charge you $3,500 for a injector. I had the guy in Tableland sort out my injector nozzels after Sookhai's cleaned it and was still getting hard start and rough idle.
Tried to fix my tiptronic, but, bought the wrong switch online. Only use tiptronic to drive to Maracas really and only Massy has the switch for $800 on order. I use Wagner brake pads. Got front and back by M&N in the Bamboo.
Timing belt kit PN
24312-27250 Timing Belt
24410-27250 Tensioner Assembly
24810-27250 Idle Tensioner

Use your chassis number here (visual diagrams): http://epc.japancars.ru/hyundai/

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice bro and the part numbers..it's been a big help as I was trying to find the parts online but didn't want to order the wrong thing and Massy (obviously) didnt want to give me the part numbers over the phone. They're ridiculous..they're charging $802 for the belt, $1348 for the tensioner assembly, $589 for the idle tensioner and $980 for the coolant pump. Everything online including shipping is US $254. Idk a mechanic capable of changing the belt so when I order the parts I'll bite that bullet and carry it to Massy and buy the two seals and the thermostat from them..those are cheap enough that it wouldn't be much of a difference to purchase locally and I think it's about $700 labour to do the job.

On another note, I've read through the Tech Threads in the Pickups Forum and they're super organised and informative. These are fairly popular vehicles locally, compounded by the fact that we have a twin in the Sportage. Can we turn this into a formal kind of Tech Thread as well, details, mechanics, part numbers, DIY tips..full works?

This thread is helpful as well: viewtopic.php?f=70&t=520139&start=90
Those part numbers are from Massy, as I did the timing belt change there. Parts and labour was 4K, didn't trust mechanics outside. One mechanic wanted to take the engine out even after I showed him the video below  .
Massy left me with two side effects afterwards later that year:
1. They ring one of the inner boot rubber. Had to get the boot online as they didn't have it.
2. Oil seal by the oil filter, that cause the van to leak like a old tractor.

I buy parts from here: http://www.koraps.com/

Thanks man..that vid shows them changing the head gasket I think..Massy said it's $1,500 + VAT labour to replace the system..here's hoping they don't mess my vehicle up..did you have any kind of recourse with those issues they caused though?? As for the parts website.. Kpartsmall seems to have better prices than Koraps..

Nah man, once I fixed the two issues myself afterwards, I was good. Kpartsmall looks good.

Hey guys, back again, did a vehicle evaluation at VMCOTT last Friday. Got my quotation, and apparently my front cradles (left and right) need to change, as well as my left rear control arm. I'm finding the control arms online but nothing about cradle arms. I don't know if they're all actually called control arms and we just use the term 'cradle' loosely, because I found front lower control arms but nothing to specify, and I'm thinking, if there's a lower there must be an upper and I'm not too verse with complex suspension parts as my wagon has a cradle arm and that's that  I tried using the EPC but I can't pinpoint exactly what I'm looking for. Can anyone furnish me with the part numbers for these parts, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Front 'Cradle arms' Left and Right;
Left Rear Control Arm.

Other than that I need filters (fuel, air and oil) but the prices VMCOTT quoted aren't bad.

Through some digging up, I found what I'm looking for..still awaiting confirmation from you all though. I was thinking, what if I just replace my cradle bushings, since these are what usually go bad..I doubt the whole 'cradle' is bad...found this by the way..it's a little tedious to follow and/or navigate but I hope it helps.

Cradle bushing for the front are 54584-2E000/54551-2E000. The big and small. I had paid about $1000 big and small, both sides. Change my cradle bushing a year ago. Online the cradle also refers to corner arm...
I use Sakura oil filter C-2807 ($85) as it is made just for the Hyundai. I also get the Sakura air filter ($75), but I just bought a K&N and well fuel you get a cheap brand for $75.

Thanks much bro..you've been a great help thus far. I found the respective part numbers. Imagine $1,000 as opposed to approximately $3,600 for both cradles..I'm guessing the filters VMCOTT are billing me for are original and the prices aren't all that bad. Thanks again for the info.
