Rainfall more like microburst activity in D'abadie. Started abruptly and heavily, quickly intensified then died down to gentle rain.
For a while the roof impact was deafening.

yup, odd patterns for the past few days.
Very intense, but short bursts of rain.
It's going from blazing sun, to black skies, back to blazing sun within 30 min

Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service

Update (9:45 am): Intervals of showers are approaching both islands (green areas), and should periodically affect us through the day and into night-time. Heavy showers are also possible at times and gusty winds will remain a risk.

even easier test, cut your fingernails/toenails/hair before a full moon and record the amount of time before you cut it again. then repeat this post full moon.

Not too many folks on Tuner cutting their fingernails based on the photos that I've seen.

2 days ago Broward county Florida received an extreme cold weather warning.

Tuner weatherheads: could our cold morning temps be related some way to that?

It is, Winds bring colder air to the tropics as the hot/warm air rises...Jamaica and Cuba experiencing it more than us since they are closer to the colder climates.
