The public is advised to be on the alert for rough seas and showers today as a Yellow Level Adverse Weather Alert has been issued for South Trinidad.
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service said in an update this morning that there is the 70 per cent (high) chance of a few heavy showers and occasional thunderstorms associated with an area of low-level convergence combined with a favourable upper level environment.
These conditions are expected to mainly affect areas of Central and Southern Trinidad over the next 6 to 12 hours.
