there's an SUV to the Ford ranger too, forgot what they're calling it. (Kinda like the Surf and the hilux pick-up). That supposed to be really good value; its very rugged and very luxurious.

Have you actually ever owned one and had to maintain it?

I have a Mitsubishi bought new from the firm, as well as two Hyundais also bought new from the firm (one sold to buy the other) and the Hyundais have given me less trouble than the Mitsubishi (all cars have been maintained by the dealers). The only Mitsubishi car I would ever now consider owning is an Evolution, nothing else.

But you are right, you can't go wrong with a Toyota.

When the new 'Premium Diesel' coming out? It supposed to be on par with international grade, but costing more than Premium Gasoline p/litre.

The current diesel lickin up engines especially CRDIs. We had to put an additional filter on each of our fleet of Frontiers because of the amount of water, making our PM program expensive. We fraid to upgrade to the Navara because of that.

From experience, the Sorento real good, my old man paid $275k for an LX, the EX at the time was about $320k, Its a PCA, and the prices right now a bit higher. I think $320k - $350k.

Works real good, but then agin it new. Good speed, nice acceleration, good handling on corners etc. Smooth ride, quiet engine. It got good reviews in the US too.

And the thing good looking too... :D

Basically the same as the Hyundai Tucson. The only reason that I would keep away from that vehicle is because of the (poor) after-sales service from SS&SCL.

Tucson is popular for a couple reasons; its one of the cheapest "SUVs" and two, its reliability is pretty good. Mind you, the gas cover mysteriously refuses to open at the most inconvenient times and there is also a very strange vibration at about 120kph which the dealer nor mileage mack can find.
