Water Leak in Trunk???

Postby bigb » August 30th, 2010, 6:03 pm

Anyone has any ideas of the most likely place where water would leak from the trunk of a local Honda Civic 99-00 model

if the water is,in the spare tyre storage area, check the rubber plug. you may have to re-seal it. 8-)

that leak comes from the square vent ports from under the back bumper and get into the trunk use silicone and seal around and seal of the vent and the problem should be solved ..............that was a problem in my car a while back

There may be some rotted spots where the rear windscreen is mounted .I had the same problem. I had to have the windscreen replaced due to a guy cutting grass ,only then the technicians said that could cause the leaking and repaired the spots since then it never leaked.
